Daring or Dreadful: Hot Pink and One Sleeve

I have no idea who the designer for this dress is or if it's a current piece, but I came across this photo on my tumblr and I LOVE this dress. It's so unique how the material continues to wrap around the arm, and the alternate mesh-like silvery material adds a different look. The contrast of the material and the sleeves works perfectly! Not to mention, it's one of my favorite colors to wear. I would buy this dress in a heartbeat, but would you? Daring or Dreadful?

WWIB: Marchesa Magenta

On last week's episode of Gossip Girl, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) was styled in a magenta suede open back dress by Marchesa. Although Gossip Girl is always full of fabulous designers, this dress was definitely one of my favorite outfits. I loved the color, the structure, the fit and the gorgeous open back. I gravitate towards Serena's elegant style on the show the most; she looks great in everything she's styled in and I personally think that the things she wears on the show look much better than they do on the runway models. What do you think wore it best?
